More than one person approached me to tell me that they were blessed with my story. There was also another lady in the crowd who talked to me and told me she had open-head surgery, too, for the removal of pituitary tumor more than 10 years ago.
The difference between us is first, she already had three children before she had her surgery. I, however, haven’t been conceiving for 9 years because the tumor suppressed my fertility. After part of the tumor was removed in 2004 and the rest shrunk by medication, I was finally able to conceive in October 2005 and gave birth to my son in July 2006.
She also lost most of her eyesight (she says she can’t read anymore) and her senses of smell and taste, while only my eyes were affected. While my eyes are not as good as they used to be before my operation, I can still function normally and I can still work. Now, I remember what Miss Coney Reyes told me when I met her in one of my doctors' clinics last year. God has indeed blessed me more than I could ever imagine!
