mommy moments

One of the disadvantages of condo living is that there’s minimal to zero social interaction among neighbors since most, if not all, of the tenants/unit owners are busy working people. We also don’t get to see our neighbors' kids or know if they even have kids, so Justin doesn’t really have that much friends in the building since we moved here a little over a year ago.

The only time he gets to mingle with other kids is when he goes to the playground or to the swimming pool located at the building penthouse. I also think one of the reasons he enjoyed his summer class is that he gets to be with kids his age, playing with them, singing with them, and learning with them.

This is when Justin attended playmate Gabby’s 3rd birthday party held at Pizza Hut, Robinsons Galleria last November 2008. Justin met Gabby at the playground. From left to right: Gabby, Sophia, and Justin

I think one of the good thing living in a condo is you know the kind of kids your baby want you to play with.

We don't leave in a condo but my kid does not have playmates in the vicinity as well...Most of his friends are from school or the kids of our friends as well...

Happy Weekend!

Mommy Moments: Time Out with Friends

I agree with you mommy. Living in a condo has its disadvantages, especially for our kids. I share that same dilemma. Its a good thing we were able to enroll him for summer school. Its either he plays with his cousins or we bring him to a play area so he can interact.

Lovely kids ang cute nilang lahat.Btw I live in condo also but I am thankful because were near the park and malapit din kami sa school that's why maraming friends ang mga kids ko.

Have a lovely weekend=)

my son owns a condo unit and i tried living there with him. friends? zero. i only lasted a month. even the nanny got bored. it's great that your son found friends. mine is not so lucky, thus he was forced to go to school so early. have a great week.

well at least now he is going to school, im sure he will meet new friends there!

thanks for sharing!

although we don't live in a condo but my boys are experiencing the same.that's why i'm excited for them to meet new friends in school. :)

Good thing living in a condo is safe 'though dissadvantage for not having much friend around is so lonely but there's still so much way on how to make friends, don't worry Mommy Tetch Magugulat ka na lang one day Justin will bring a bunch of friends to your house na makikilala nya sa school & be ready then grin!Happy Sunday Mommy Tech & thanks for the visit.I like the photos during the party mukhang talagang nag enjoy si Justin,it really shows in here.

Ako din before gusto ko sa condo pero since may chance din naman na kumuha ng sariling bahay kaya yun na rin ang itinuloy namin eventually. Mas comfortable talaga ang tumira sa bahay mo where you can freely move minus a lot of restrictions. Kung may babayaran man na association dues hindi naman ganun kalaki unlike sa condo. :)

Looking at your kids pictures, kitang kitang nag-eenjoy cia, mas masaya talaga kapag may interaction with other kids. Have a great day!
