I wanted my son to have a new haircut before Christmas, so after meeting
Joy Mendiola at Robinsons Galleria yesterday, off we went to my son and his Dad’s favorite barber. So I could tick off this mommy duty on my to-do list yesterday, I just made a mental note to do my research on
life insurance rate later.
Justin was cooperative throughout the entire session, but he had one condition: no hair clippers on him. A hair clipper is a mechanical or electric tool for cutting hair. He simply hates the buzzing sound of the hair clipper. Quite naturally because I brought our camera along, I had to take before and after shots of my son to capture his transformation.

Almost done!
So, does he look better with his new haircut?
My son and I took a quick trip to Robinsons Galleria yesterday noon to see
Joy Mendiola and give her my Christmas gift, to take my son to the barbershop to have his hair trimmed and to treat my son to Tom’s World; he hasn’t played there in a long while.
On our way to the barbershop, my son stopped dead in his tracks, seemingly afraid of something. He sat on the floor with his left hand touching the ground for support, and I couldn’t make him leave his spot. Nope, there weren’t
band saw blades lying on the floor that scared the wits out of him.
He was actually afraid of the glass panels that serve as dividers at the mall. Because the glass panels were transparent, he actually thought there was nothing there, and he was afraid that he might fall down if he gets near these “invisible” glass panels.
I tried to make him touch the glass panels so he could see for himself that there was nothing to be afraid of, but he wouldn’t budge. I had no choice but to proceed to our destination at once, so he could forget about the whole thing.
After he’s had his hair cut, we passed by the same glass panels again. I took the liberty to take pictures of the things he feared and compared it to the ones the mall planned to replace. They’re still not finished changing everything inside the mall.

Metal grillesNow, which do you think is safer for children: the glass panels or the metal grilles?
Last Sunday, December 19, 2010, my husband and I went to Marquee Mall in Pampanga upon the invitation of Ms. Cel Mabalot of ELRO. Marquee Mall is an Ayala Mall situated within Angeles City’s business district. It opened in September 2009. This mall has an upscale feel without the upscale prices. I also appreciate the fact that it’s not too crowded.
It took us two hours to get to Marquee Mall from Manila, and we arrived there just in time for lunch. We had a sumptuous meal at Gerry’s Grill, and you bet from what we ordered that we needed to visit
www.lipofuzefatburner.com afterwards.

The colorful displays are enough to entice you to check out what this store has to offer. We saw their latest collection of Grendha, Ipanema and Rider footwear. And you know what? We got to shop for not just one, but two pairs, of our choice, too. It didn’t take me long to choose my loot: a brown pair of Grendha slip-ons and a gray-and-black pair of Ipanema sandals.

A Christmas Ballet Concert.” This show was presented by Ayala Malls and Steps Dance Project in cooperation with Ipanema and Grendha. This ballet concert featured “Pinoy Christmas” and excerpts from the classic Christmas tale
The Nutcracker. I already saw this at the Glorietta Activity Center last November 20, but I watched it again and enjoyed it again. Hubby took new photos, too.

We went home before 4pm, dozed off during the duration of the trip and arrived home safe and sound at 6pm. Thank you so much, Cel, for inviting us. When will we do this again?
We can’t deny the fact that the advent of modern technology has made life easier for most of us. Who can’t live without computers, for instance? I know I can’t. I use my laptop every day to do my online work and to connect with family and friends. Many industries are also heavily dependent on computers, such as IT companies and call centers. Imagine how much money would be lost in one day if these companies would experience computer breakdowns. It is imperative, therefore, that they purchase topnotch
industrial computers to ensure that their business runs smoothly and efficiently. They should consider the following factors when buying industrial computers: failure rates, flexibility of system options and price.
