I just drank a bottle of Minute Maid Pulpy. They say it’s got ‘no preservatives added’. Aw, c’mon…It’s bottled juice. Is that even possible? So I thought maybe... they're just saying that for product publicity.

I didn’t believe it the first time I heard it’s got no preservatives added. So I read the ingredients (even the fine print) and everything checked out! It really has NO PRESERVATIVES ADDED! That means it doesn’t have ingredients that may turn out to be allergens, or worse...carcinogens! Whew! Now that’s healthy goodness that tastes so good, I... will definitely buy some more of this and share it with my family and friends.

So okay, it’s got no preservatives added. That’s really good, right? Not just because it doesn’t have those icky, harmful ingredients, but it also means... I'm getting my daily dose of Vitamin C just by drinking Minute Maid Pulpy!

So far anyone who still has a hard time believing that Minute Maid has got no preservatives added - meaning it's THAT natural, it's almost like it's plucked straight from the tree, it's just as Mother Nature wanted your orange juice to be, it's got nothing but the good stuff yes, none of those potentially toxic stuff that can harm your brain, kidneys, heart; cause tumors aargh- the list of preservatives' bad effects just go on!!! Anyway, just to prove a point on just how good Minute Maid Pulpy is 'cause it's got NO PRESERVATIVES ADDED, I'm gonna make Minute Maid Pulpy part of my daily diet.

Feels good to know about the real pulpy deal, right? C’mon show me a smile on the comment box, and you might win yourself a Really Pulpy Deal! (That’s a chance to win a Minute Maid gift pack simply by commenting. Sweet! C'mon you just might be picked as the lucky 'commentor'!)

Love,

Tetcha

I went to the preview night of The Red Shoes at The Podium last night primarily because the venue is walking distance from our place. The second reason I went is because I was curious about the film. To be honest, I haven’t seen a poster of the movie prior to last night's screening, so I was absolutely clueless about it. Thanks, Nuffnang, for the invite!

The Brains behind the Movie
The Red Shoes is directed by Raul Jorolan, written by Jayel Ladioray, and presented by Unico Entertainment. Set in the post-Marcos era, it is a story of “love, aspiration and new hope amid changing fortunes and the country’s fickle, contemporary history.”

Synopsis
Lucas (Marvin Agustin) stole a pair of former first lady Imelda Marcos’ shoes when he was a little boy and gave it to the two most important women in his life, his mother (Liza Lorena) and his childhood sweetheart Bettina (Nikki Gil). The story started with that pair of red shoes and ended with the same pair (with a twist!). The characters in the story are represented by their favorite shoe color. The main theme is moving on, which the main character Lucas has finally learned to do when he decided to change the color of his shoes in the end.

My Review
The screenplay was well-written, the actors/actresses gave a fine performance, and the movie is loaded with metaphors, which make it doubly interesting to watch. The Red Shoes opens on March 10, 2010.

Incidentally, I also met Pie in last night’s movie preview, and she took this photo of us.

I hope to see her again in future events.

I attended my first bloggers’ event yesterday for the revelation of winners of the You’re the 1, Goldilocks contest. The event was held at Topshelf, Fully Booked High Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. The program was hosted by Juddha Paolo and was graced by none other than the hunky Goldilocks endorser, Dingdong Dantes.

My sister Meann and I were one of the early birds, and we were given a basketful (or plasticful) of Goldilocks treats and a bag full of Summit Media magazines. Each blogger was also given a Goldilocks cake to decorate for the do-it-yourself contest. There were also trivia games and food. I loved their laing pasta! Bloggers and their companions also had a grand time at the photo booth; they had their pictures taken with props if they want to, which they get to keep as souvenirs, and that’s free!

Goldilocks gave away an additional set of prizes for all participants. Originally, they meant to give away one ASUS F80Q laptop and three (3) HP Minis, but because they received so many entries, 130 (or is it 140?), they decided to give away two more HP Minis and four consolation prizes of Goldilocks gift certificates worth Php2,500.00 each.

I did not win any of those prizes, but I felt like a winner simply because of the photo opportunity I had with Dingdong.

The second place winner was Mauie Flores of The 24-Hour Mommy. Here's her winning entry. And the grand prize winner was Ms. Noemi Dado of A Filipina Mom Blogger. Congratulations, Mauie and Ms. Noemi! I’m sorry I failed to get the names of the other winners, but congratulations to all of you, too. You all deserved to win.

I’m so looking forward to another contest from Nuffnang and my next bloggers’ event.

P.S. I finally met Pehpot of Make or Break at last night’s event. We did not have that chance to talk much, but it was enough introduction for the two of us. I hope to see her again wherever.
