My husband took us out to an afternoon food trip at Cajun Red Rock, Megamall today. He’s been there several times, but this is only my and my son’s first time to eat in this cozy restaurant. We ordered Redbuttered Squid & Shrimp, Creole Chicken, Supreme Espresso Ribs, and Long Island Iced Tea.
If you’re a seafood aficionado, you will love their Redbuttered Squid & Shrimp. This is really yummy and comes with great-tasting coleslaw, too.
Redbuttered Squid & Shrimp, Php280.00
I’m not really a pasta lover, but I enjoyed their Creole Chicken. It’s not too salty and not too bland; it tastes just right.
Creole Chicken, Php185.00
Now, if you want your ribs a little bit spicy, you might like their Supreme Espresso Ribs. You also get to choose two side dishes. We picked Crispy Mojos and Buttered Veggies.
Supreme Espresso Ribs, Php310.00
Finally, their large glass of Long Island Iced Tea is more than enough to quench your thirst. The added peach bits make this iced tea drink even more interesting.
Long Island Iced Tea (green iced tea with peach bits) for Justin's Dad, me, and his yaya, Php75.00
Oh, by the way, they also serve free popcorn, which is a great come-on for kids.
Some popcorn on the house
We enjoyed what we ordered, and we will definitely come back to this place again.

5 pensive thought/s:
I just want to comment on how they present their dishes. They are not appealing to the eyes..The colors are all dull..They must consider revising their plating...
I wanna try that too.. I remember they used to have a stall in Glorietta Food Choices (called CAJUN).. uber yummy burger and fries plus the dip too! too bad it closed down.
Wow, they serve free popcorn! :) i guess it's because the owner is the one who owns Chef Tony's popcorn as well. ;)
I hope you didn't give your son a Long Island Iced tea since it is one of the MOST alcoholic drinks you can buy although it doesn't taste like it.
The Long Island Iced Tea (LIIT) is the basis of many elaborate mixed-drinks. It dates to the 70's, named after the continental USA's largest island Long Island, in New York. Although it doesn't contain tea, it's taste is similar.
1 part vodka
1 part 1800® Tequila
1 part rum
1 part gin
1 part triple sec
1 1/2 parts sweet and sour mix
1 splash Coca-Cola®
hmmm..yummy...sound and taste like Louisiana Dishes;)
The food looks yummy! Next we'll try that! :)
