We were supposed to head immediately to Market! Market! after the Bisolvon mommy-kids’ event at Serendra last Saturday afternoon to meet up with Justin’s Dad when we chanced upon the ETC (Entertainment Central) Beauty Summit being held at Bonifacio High Street. Because the topic, beauty and wellness, appealed to her, my sister Meann was excited to see what’s inside; luckily, the event was open to everyone.

We also got to watch Noelle Cassandra, Asia’s only harpist/singer. It was refreshing to see a lovely face with an angelic voice who also plays beautiful harp music. Her voice was so soothing, so cool. I became an instant fan! She was also very funny!

One of the invited speakers was an Ob/Gyn doctor who gave an informative talk about PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). My sister also availed of the free eyebrow threading being offered in one of the booths inside. We went home with lots of goodies, too! There were lotions, soap, shampoo, and vitamins, but none for eczema treatment. I was also shocked (and delighted) to see a gift certificate from Mary Kay that entitles the bearer a complimentary BASIC FACIAL, MICRODERMABRATION & HAND SPA worth PHp4,000.00 inside the pink bag that they gave away.

I wonder why they did not invite bloggers to this event. Aside from being able to fill the entire place, bloggers would make for a livelier audience, too. Just a thought.
