I made a quick trip to the hospital laboratory last night to submit a stool sample of my son because he’s passing out loose stool. That’s to check if he has amoebiasis; I hope not. Per his pediatrician’s advice, I gave him Ercefuryl (an antibacterial suspension for diarrhea) 3x a day and Erceflora once a day. My son doesn’t want to eat fruits, so giving him banana and apple is out of the question. He’s drinking Gatorade and Yakult instead. In the meantime, we have to give him lactose-free milk.
