While lounging around SM Megamall after the she-bloggers’ meet-up last Saturday, one stall near Comic Quest and the Food Court caught my little boy’s attention. Lucky Hermits offers a wide selection of homes/shells for hermit crabs. They have painted shells proven safe for hermit crabs and nicely carved and polished natural shells.

Meet Mr. Krabs, Justin’s very own hermit crab!

Justin wasn’t too keen on touching the hermit crab at first, but he soon got over his initial fear, or so we thought. It was a different story during bedtime, though, because he keeps waking up and checking our bed for what seems to be signs of hermit crabs crawling on it. LOL! That lasted until 3am, which made him really tired when he woke up in the morning to go to school.

And how’s this for a blooper?

MOMMY
All the while, I kept saying “Kermit crab,” instead of “hermit crab.” Why do I keep associating Kermit frog with hermit crab? LOL!

SON
Justin: Mommy, where’s my puppet?

Mommy: What puppet?

Justin: My crab.

Mommy: It’s “pet,” baby, not “puppet.”

The she-bloggers met up at Dads, Megamall last Saturday, June 26, 2010. It just so happened that there was a chess tournament (Shell National Youth Chess Championship – NCR Leg) being held at Megamall, too, that day, and since my husband is a chess enthusiast, he went there and left Justin to my and his yaya’s care.

I intended to go up alone to meet the other bloggers who were present, but my son wouldn’t let me out of his sight and said he wanted to play. Of course, he got what he wanted, and as a consequence, I was again uberlate for this years' she-bloggers meet-up! I missed Chris because I came after she left, but I was glad to have some photo opps with the rest of the she-bloggers who attended, namely: Pehpot, Fedhz, Paula, Earth, Rossel, Nuts, Jade, and Josie.

My son Justin and Fedhz’s daughter Izzy; are you enemies or what?

I was terribly late for the she-bloggers’ meet-up at Dad’s Megamall last Thursday, August 13. I was hesitant to go because my son was sick, but when he was okay by 3pm, I decided to head on to the agreed venue since it was just near our place. Besides, his lolo (grandfather) and older cousin Ate Ayie were there to look after him, so he’s in good hands.

Clockwise from left to right: Josie (Josie's Window), Pehpot (Make or Break), Leira ((Mushings), Mara (Mara's Personal Bubble), Tetcha (Pensive Thoughts), Niko (Niko's Blog), Earth (Earthlingorgeous.com), Jade (Life of a Filipina Blogger)

Fedhz (Home Buddies) and Mye (Blog Appetite)

Too bad I missed the chitchat, but I was glad to meet my fellow bloggers in person whom I only see in pictures courtesy of their blogs. I hope I’ll be available (and early!) for the next bloggers’ rendezvous. See you again, guys!

P.S. Yami of Mom Writes for a Cause was also present, but I wasn't able to take a picture of her.)
