I’ve often heard about the special relationship between men and their cars. There are men who love their cars so much they shower them with tender loving care as if they’re humans. It comes as no surprise then that the ladyloves of these men become jealous of these cars sometimes. Come to think of it, can a woman really compete with his man’s car, especially when it’s a very expensive one? I’m sure a man who owns a Ferrari spends more for his car than he does for his girlfriend or wife. Can you imagine how much Ferrari parts and accessories would cost?

mommy moments

What is it about cars that boys love? My son likes cars very much and he can’t seem to get enough of them. The size of the car doesn’t really matter to him.

Small (Look! One wheel is missing in the green racing car!)

Medium (His own Ferrari, LOL!)

Large (His first bump car ride)

We don’t have a car, but his favorite Tito O. and Tita Meme (my younger sister) have one, and he enjoys riding in it.

Baby, the car is not yours. Don’t smile as if you own it.

My son loves trains: toy trains and real trains. His penchant for trains started when he first laid eyes on Thomas & Friends. He also likes riding on trains, and he had a grand time last Halloween riding two trains at two different malls.

Justin is also fond of cars: toy cars, racing cars, online car games, arcade car games, etc. He had a chance to drive a bump car last Halloween, too, at Festival Mall. At first, his Dad and I were hesitant to allow him to ride the bump car on his own, thinking that he was too young and too small for it. He insisted he could do it, and lo and behold, he drove it like a pro!

Are your kids fascinated by trains and cars, too?
