I got this Mommy Merit Badges from Rose of Nostalgic Marveling. I should have posted this on Mother’s Day, but we went to our Nanay’s place to celebrate her special day and we got home rather late. But I wouldn’t pass up this opportunity to say that all moms deserve to be recognized for their love and sacrifices. It’s not easy being a mom; I know that now. As a mom, you have to learn to put others’ needs first before your own. Let me end this piece with a poem that describes how deep and tender a mother’s love is.

The only purpose I had in mind when I started blogging was “to document my son’s developmental milestones, all for posterity’s sake.” Those are the exact words in my blog description. But ideas pop here and there, and I see things around me that I feel I should write about out of the need for self-expression. I also get to meet some wonderful people through blogging and learn lots of things from reading other people’s experiences in their blogs. I’ve also started earning money from blogging since June, which I consider a bonus treat.
