Kids, like adults, have bad days, moments where they display ill temper, anger, or frustration. When Justin was just a baby, he would have tantrums when the adults around him would not understand what it was he’s crying about. When he started talking (he talks well for his age, by the way), he had lesser tantrums because he could already express what he wanted. Now that he’s three years old, his tantrums are more an expression of frustration, such as when he doesn’t get what he wants because Mommy and Daddy forbids it or when he’s put in timeout, like the photo below. He hates timeouts because he knows he’s being punished for something he did wrong.

Time out works with Patrick too but not with Kendrick, I have to use different approach.
Lucky for Justine that his time out is only 3 minutes, my boys takes longer than that.
My gosh makabagbag damdamin ang iyak ni good boy Justin as in. laki ng luha sis hehehehe. Grabe ang strick ni mommy, time out ka diyan Justine, buti nakikinig sa time out, bait pa rin kahit nagtantrums hehehehe. jake ko pa yan, tinawanan na ako, kaya time out place nya is playpen niya para sure hindi makalusot hehehe.
I remember the first time I tried the time-out method with my youngest boy, he was about 4 at the time. He kept laughing and laughing while standing at the corner facing the wall!
Time-out definitely didn't work on him :(
I tried this time out method on Evan but he would cry throughout the session. So instead of giving a specific time, I just asked him to sit still until he stopped crying regardless how long it took for him to calm down.
