In my previous post, I blogged about our brief stay at Ayala Triangle Gardens a.k.a. Ayala Triangle Park located on Ayala Avenue, Makati City. That’s because the weather was not agreeing with us on that day. Our time there wasn’t really wasted because we got to take pictures of us goofing around and more importantly, we were able to try Bon Chon Chicken. Hubby heard good reviews about their house specialty, so we had to taste it to believe.

French Fries, Php45.00/$1.00

I think their French Fries are overpriced. We ordered this for the little boy in case he didn’t want the chicken. You see, he’s a picky eater. He ate a few French fries, and his yaya finished the rest. I think he prefers McDonald’s and Jollibee French fries over Bon Chon Chicken’s French fries.

Left: Chicken Wings Rice Box,hot and spicy, Php135.00/$3.00; Right: Chicken Wings (6 pieces), soy garlic, Php185.00/$4.00

Hubby hadn’t had lunch yet, so I ordered Chicken Wings Rice Box, hot and spicy, for him. For the separate order of 6-piece chicken wings, we chose to have the soy garlic flavor. This way, we’d be able to sample both variants.

The hot and spicy chicken wings were too hot for us, but this will definitely be a hit for those who want their food flaming hot. We like the soy garlic chicken better because even kids can eat them. The taste is just right with a hint of sweetness.

What we like most about their chicken is they’re crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and tasty inside and out. They’re really delicious! Because we liked their chicken so much, we ended up ordering rice, too, for me and for Justin’s yaya. Do you think the most powerful appetite suppressant would work if chicken tastes this good?

You’ll also find this slogan at the counter when you order: “Meals are cooked fresh as you order.” And indeed they are! Now, isn’t that a good thing?
