mommy moments

Most of my son’s books are gifts, and I’ve kept all of them. When he’s in the mood for some storytelling, he would get one of his books and ask me to read it to him. Yesterday, he got all of his Brainy Baby books, sat on the floor, and showed his mastery of the alphabet, numbers, animals, and shapes to his lolo (grandfather). He was actually pretending to be a teacher giving lessons to his pupils.

Too bad, all of his books now have doodle marks on them. That’s because when he started to learn how to use pencils and pens, he couldn’t stop himself from writing everywhere.

9 pensive thought/s:

That's alright ate, that's how they learn, scribbling on it lol. My kids do that too with their books.

Books Adventure

kakatuwa naman si Justin....nagtuturo na...baka maging teacher siya paglaki :-)

As long as they read it, okay lang na medyo masira. kesa naman yung sa mga anak ko, puro nasa taguan pa :-)
I love books!

yes, scribbling, putting them into their mouth, tearing. it's good that he is exposed to books at an early age. good job mommy!

kamusta ka na? have a great weekend!

Ahaha, ok lang yun, maybe he wants to be a book illustrator too? ;-) cute!

doodle marks are good. great indication that they're enjoying their books. kawawa nga lang yung book. =)

ok lang yan! at least napapansin nya ang mga books nya. there's this book i got where you can write on the pages and its easy to erase! I just don't know if its still available. I got one and my 3 boys used it! (although dog-eared na nga lang but worth it caused its been around for 11 years now). happy mm!

i think as long as it makes the kids interested to read.. its okay :) great job mommmy! :D happy mommy moments!
