I’m not a really good salesperson; that’s why I never tried applying for sales jobs. I find the idea of approaching prospective clients and getting turned down daunting. There are people, however, who are born to sell, just like my younger sister. She now owns a trading company and supplies semiconductor products to her clients. If I’m half as good as her in pitching a sale, I’d probably be rich by now.

Speaking of salespeople, I especially admire insurance agents because of their persistence. They had won me over several times in the past because of their convincing ways. I know for a fact that insurance agents have monthly quotas, which means they have to work doubly hard to find potential buyers. Generating a life insurance lead daily must be their top priority.
