If there’s one sport that really fascinates me, that would be horseback riding. I have often wondered how a rider tames his horse. How do you make such a strong and huge animal listen to you? While doing my research on the topic, I’ve discovered that one should learn the following horseback riding basics: how to lead a horse, mount a horse, sit correctly in the saddle, walk and halt, steer a horse with direct reining, neck rain a horse, sit the trot, canter or lope, dismount, and keep your heels down. Whew! That’s a lot! One also needs a competent coach to become a really good horseback rider. Getting high quality equestrian apparel should get a person started on this fun and interesting sport.
